Now available for all kart enthusiasts, the latest developments on engine tuning from Galiffa Kart’s R&D department: Galiffa Tuning
The developments and changes made to TM Racing engines by Galiffa Kart through its Galiffa Tuning division are available to everyone. Indeed, Galiffa Kart has developed a line of products and components with optimised performance, dedicated to all kart entusiasts who can now make the most of their TM Racing KZ engine. All products are on sale at the Galiffa Kart online shop.
Treated gearbox kit
Consisting of a primary shaft with gears plus forks, secondary shaft with gears plus forks, desmo, primary distribution, gear wheel and sprocket. All these components are subjected to special processing that enhances smoothness and durability. You can only appreciate the difference if you try it!
"Low revs"
reed valve pack insert
With a "more closed" shape, made of resin - therefore better able to contain temperatures– the reed valve pack insert improves engine delivery at low revs.
Aluminium reed valve pack insert treated
The traditional "standard" insert undergoes polishing and a process to maximise performance compared to the standard component.
Tuned piston
As engine performance increases, thanks to the use of the various components in the Galiffa Tuning Racing Line, standard pistons also need adjustment. Indeed, the Racing Line piston has additional holes, compared to the standard component, for improved lubrication of the cylinder wall.
Flushed carburetor
Compared to an ordinary standard carburetor, the Galiffa Tuning carburetor is the result of careful selection and is polished and subjected to fluxing for maximum performance.
Treated pressure plate
The pressure plate is also subjected to the attentions of Galiffa Kart’s tuning department, which specialises in engine tuning. In fact, browning and a process are applied to increase the hardening of the material itself.
"High revs"
reed valve pack insert
Made of resin, so that it is better able to contain the temperatures reached in that particular and fundamental part of the engine, the reed valve pack insert with a "more open" shape has been designed to optimiseengine delivery at high revs.
Complete crankshaft tuned
Every single crankshaft that leaves the Galiffa Tuning department is optimised, in terms of balancing the weights, using a process that can take Galiffa Kart engineers up to 2 hours.
Complete reed valve pack flushed
The reed valve pack is a component of fundamental importance, in terms of performance, in 2-stroke engines. That is why every single reed valve pack in the Galiffa Tuning Racing Line is subjected to fluxing tests to optimise the way it operates according to Galiffa Kart standards.
Treated sprocket
The sprocket, perhaps the main componentof the transmission in a kart, is subjected to special processing that enhances both durability and smoothness.
